Welcome to bob.sh. This is a collection of small development projects and other paraphernalia. Feel free to contact us.
- Ken Barber (site manager)
I've moved the site over to our London server now. I've also given it a fresh coat of paint in the process.
I decided to start from scratch this time, installing Drupal in a vanilla fashion re-doing everything closely to how it was before with some improvements:
As promised I've released my Puppet library for public consumption. I've coined it the Bob's Puppet Library (BPL for short) and you can find the link to the source on the left. At the moment its not even reached version 0.1 but feel free to check it out.
This is an attempt to keep a running set of modules that are unencumbered (that is open source) and available for everyone to use. The modules are used actively to manage the new London based bob.sh server (currently only running my Mercurial repository) so while not perfect, they are working.
I've decided to move bob.sh to London from its current site in Texas USA. I'm based in the UK so it makes a lot more sense for the content to be hosted here.
In a consolidation attempt I've moved all of the code I've been involved with or written onto bob.sh. I've consolidated using Mercurial, an open-source revision control system.
As you may have noticed, the old bob.sh website is getting a bit of a revamp. bob.sh is merely a collection of my various bits and pieces and an outlet for my pent up rage and hostility ... and creativity ... I guess.
The site is powered by Drupal. I'm still learning so it looks a little dull at the moment. The fun part is learning the new application so I will continue to push buttons until it all works. If you have any suggestions feel free to leave comments (you can do that now). Cheers.
